The leather sweatband is supple and shows just light use

Serial number found under walnut grips is 8269 making this an late 1861 production

There is also a viewing proof mark and the roman numeral II engraved

Below this is it stamped with the manufacture date of 1940

This is a World War Two era Swedish military officer shako offered in very good condition. Features brass front plate, brass crossed rifle infantry buttons, brass chinstrap, pinwheel vents, wool felt body, and leather liner. Size its approximately 6 3 4 (56cm) and it is offered in very good condition. The horsehair plume is unfortunately missing. Sweden maintained its policy of
