Beautiful cut-glass small decanters in perfect condition with very unusual lids - they are plastic and grooved with an inner removable gold foil cardboard

The glass is foxed with many aged black spots on it but this gives it a wonderful rustic charm

with an attached lid

It is unframed but is signed

The rattan and bamboo are in good condition with some parts (especially at the top) which are aged

Ormolu is a gold coloured alloy of copper, zinc, and tin used in decoration and making ornaments. These beautiful pediments may have been used as decorative pieces in furniture and mirrors in the late 18th century, in grand homes and chateaus. If the furniture was damaged, these pieces were often removed and kept or used elsewhere. They are quite heavy. I have priced them individually.
