Most unusual is this U. S. Revolutionary War Era Imported Flintlock Musket made by the famous Jacobus Tomson family of Gun Makers. This example is marked I. TOMSON A LIGE on the lock plate, where "I" was used instead of a "J" in the fashion of the time. This family of makers operated in both Rotterdam in HOLLAND and Lige in BELGIUM. The musket comes complete with its original Socket bayonet, which appears to be
