This is a great example of an American 1840 1850s Fur Trade trade tomahawk. The head is in remarkable condition with a visible blacksmiths mark. The handle appears to be the original. This example appears to be with its original wooden handle. The handle is original and does have cracking with minor wood loss present. The head of the tomahawk is approximately 5 1 2 in length with an edge width of 3 1 4 with a handle
