Constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five pointed star with arms completing in ball finials, the obverse featuring a red enameled base, overlaid by a raised and silvered crescent, surrounding a silvered Tughra of Sultan Mehmed V above an Islamic calendar date of 1333 (AD 1915), the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the physical characteristics of
