Unfortunately the helmet does have a rather significant dent on the top which more than likely caused the code to not be visible

but it does show signs of wear and tear

so we suspect it was made later in the war

Only One Lot Available. This is a great pair of WWI Training swords, an extremely scarce M1913 Wicker Basket cavalry training sword with a spare blade. The wicker basket guards were slide on and fit perfectly onto the end of the blade. There are grooves in the wooden blade so its known where to hold. The blades measure roughly 41 and are marked R. I. A. 1913. The wicker basket guard is woven with two small slits for the blade to slide
