Original U.S. Civil War M-1840 Army NCO Sword by Emerson & Silver - Dated 1863 British Ordnance indicating a size 59cm linerOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of a U. S. Civil War issue Model 1840 Non Commissioned Officer's sword by Emerson & Silver out of Trenton, New Jersey. This example is missing its scabbard, but the blade is still in fair condition and displays very beautifully. The sword measures 38" overall, and has an all brass hilt, with a "double scallop" cross guard, and a "D" hand guard enclosing the knurled hand grip. The 32 inch
