This is a fantastic unopened and unissued M7 bayonet still in its original box

the division fought in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive and successfully helped to destroy the German First Guard Division and continued to smash through three successive enemy lines

The paint markings are now faded from cleaning and wear and barely legible

and the back of the shows the original "blacked" finish very well

the Division helped to cut off the French Peninsula during the battle of Normandy

This is a lovely mostly bright example of a German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 (Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse 1939) with its original red, black, and white rayon ribbon. It also comes with a very nice War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords KvKII ribbon pin, attached to the end of the ribbon. The EKII itself is maker marked on the hanger ring with Prsidialkanzlei des Fhrers Lieferant (Presidential Chancellery Supplier)
